At Car Park Waterproofing Systems, we are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and to ensure that such practices do not exist within our own business and our supply chains. We have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, in our company and in the wider supply chain. Our employees are expected to report concerns, and management are expected to act upon them.
We are a provider of car park waterproofing solutions located at Unit A1, Marks Hall Farm, White Roding, Dunmow, Essex, CM6 1RT. We have a global reach with a commitment to serving our clients with integrity and professionalism. Our business is organised to ensure close monitoring of all our operations and supply chain.
Our business is organised into various departments that handle everything from material sourcing, project management, client interactions, and after-sales services. Each department plays a vital role in the delivery of services that adhere to our ethical standards.
Our supply chain includes the sourcing of raw materials primarily related to the construction and chemical manufacturing sectors. We carefully select our suppliers and vet them through a rigorous process that includes checks to ensure compliance with our ethical requirements, including labor practices.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:
We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values. The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Management is responsible for ensuring all suppliers adhere to our values.
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.
Following a review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken this year to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains we intend to take the following further steps to combat slavery and human trafficking:
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2025.
